Getting around in Ibiza is fairly simple and you have lots of ways to do it, depending on how you want to spend your day.

The best way to get wherever you want to go on the island is hiring a driver or renting a car. This will give you freedom to go anywhere, unencumbered by anything. The plus side is that a chauffeur will drive you anywhere, even to a club or a party, and get you back home safe, even if you had something to drink. This is the best alternative to taxis, not to mention the fact that it’s way cheaper!

If you want to ride a bit on the wild side, you can always rent a motorcycle or a scooter. They are very popular during the season, and you can get through traffic without any problem. Not to mention that riding a motorcycle in Ibiza could be a great experience, giving the views and the great weather.

You can also get the bus to anywhere on the island. Their schedule is great, and you’ll have buses coming and going every half an hour, connecting different destinations throughout the island. And don’t miss the disco bus! The disco bus is great for party goers, and its route connects all clubs and resorts during the night.

If you want to visit the coastline, you can get tickets for the ferries and boats leaving every 20 minutes or so from specific locations, or you can rent your own boat and head out to visit the picturesque places along the Ibiza coast.

There is also an option of getting around the island for those who are fit and want to stay that way, and that is the bike. Ibiza has a lot of biking trails and special routes you can take, and you might as well enjoy the scenery while you’re at it.

Last, but not least, you can opt for excursions where you get to see different parts of the island with a guide, in a scheduled tour. That being said, you can add another checkmark on your Ibiza vacation plans because now you know everything there is to know about getting around in Ibiza.
